About Our Financial Advising Practice in Long Branch
We start every client relationship the same way: by looking closely at what you already have before we suggest anything new. You get a clear picture of your accounts, policies and goals, explained in plain words, so any decision you make next is one you understand.
Why We Look Before We Recommend
Many people come to us after a meeting somewhere else that felt like a sales pitch. A product was on the table before anyone asked about their family, their work or what they were saving for. We built this practice to work the other way around.
Our first step is a careful review. We go through your investment accounts, retirement plans, insurance policies and any estate documents you have. We note what is working, what overlaps, what costs more than it should and what is missing. Then we walk you through those findings in a conversation, not a stack of jargon. Sometimes the honest answer is that your current setup is fine and only needs small changes. We tell you that too.
From there, we help with what the review shows matters most. That might be financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, legacy planning, tax management or life insurance consulting. We are Series 7 and Series 66 licensed, and we also carry a credential as a holistic financial coach from Columbia University. That coaching background shapes how we listen: money decisions sit inside real lives, with real worries, and we treat them that way.

How We Work With Clients
Findings in writing, explained out loud
After the review, you get a plain summary of what we found in your accounts and policies. We go over it together and answer every question before anything changes.
No product before a reason
We only suggest a change when the review points to one. If a policy or fund is doing its job, we leave it alone and say so.
Clear talk about costs
We explain how fees work on the accounts and policies we look at, including ours. You should know what you pay and why before you agree to anything.
Your goals set the pace
Some clients want a full long-term plan right away. Others want help with one decision, like a rollover or a coverage question. We start where you are and build from there.
